If your chimney is falling apart, we will source the closest matching brick and then remove the entire chimney down to the roof. We will then rebuild it to the original height and install a new concrete cap with a drip edge.
The old version of chimneys with the corbelling (the part where the bricks step out for the top courses of the chimney) doesn’t do well in our weather, so we build it straight up and install a concrete cap to keep water off the chimney.
Access
The main element for chimney work is the access – sometimes they’re very high up and difficult to get to safely.
Repair or Rebuild
If the mortar is damaged but the bricks are fine, we can remove the damaged mortar joints and install fresh ones to prolong the life of the chimney.
