Bricks eventually become damaged by the weather – especially on a chimney where they get hit from all directions – and they can fall off or cause the integrity of the chimney to be compromised and it will lean and crumble. Depending on how damaged and how tall the chimney is, replacing a few bricks in it could cause further damage. The proper solution is to take the entire chimney down, throw the bricks out and rebuild it from scratch with new bricks that closely match the home. We install a brand new pre-cast concrete cap, which includes reinforcement bar embedded in the concrete, new flue tile with animal screen rain cap and a mound of concrete at the top to keep water out of the chimney.

We do full rebuilds as well as repairs to the chimney and the cap
