Toronto's winter's can be ruthless, we can all agree on that - I'll show you some things to get repaired as soon as Spring hits to protect your home.

Some common tips to keep your wall free from cracks and wear, are as follows:

Cracks in the wall.
It’s natural for your home to “settle” and sometimes you can see the mortar in between the bricks break, or crack.

Bricks chipping.
Often water and eventually ice, can get in the corners and eventually begin to push the face of the brick off, this is especially dangerous when it happens high up on a wall.

Drafty rooms.
Now that the winter is winding down, you can finally find the source of why that bedroom was so cold all winter.

“White bricks" -
this phenomenon is called effervescence and is usually caused because there is moisture behind the bricks in question.

There are many other things that can go wrong, and often you can’t see them. Could be your chimney is damaged, which is out of view. It’s a good idea that if you suspect something isn’t right, to call a professional to take a closer look:

We thoroughly examine
the areas you mention to be troubling you and explain in detail what's causing it and how to fix it.

We can take a look
at other areas of your home you aren't quite sure about and give you an honest, non-sales answer. Not everything
needs to be handled immediately.

There are no silly questions -
ask away and we will try to educate you
as much as possible on the problems so you can be more informed in the future.

Of course, estimates are always free!
